The Coworker
She told you about him on Tuesday. He told her about you on Wednesday. He's in your bathroom right now.
It begins as nothing: a name in a story about a meeting. Then the same name on Thursday. Then a name you notice before she says it.
This is the slow one. There is no single evening where it happens, no arrangement to agree to. There is just a gradual accumulation of a person into your wife's day, forty hours a week, in a building you have never been inside.
He hears what her voice sounds like on a bad Monday. You hear what it sounds like at 8pm, after she has spent all of it on him.
What makes the coworker scene work is the parallel life. She has an entire existence you are not part of: colleagues, lunches, in-jokes, frustrations, a whole social architecture with its own weather. He lives in it. You visit it, secondhand, in summaries after dinner.
And the information flows both ways, which is the detail that keeps people up. She told him about you. Something ordinary, probably affectionate, possibly not. He knows your name, your job, maybe the thing you argued about last month. He has an impression of you assembled entirely from her, and you will never know what it is.
Then the escalation, when it comes, is almost absurdly domestic. Drinks after work, a lift home, and now he is in your flat, using your bathroom, running your tap. You can hear it from where you are sitting. He has seen the photos on the stairs and the mug on the drying rack.
The scene is strongest when nothing is confirmed. A coat on the chair. The door closing. Two sets of footsteps where there should be one.
In the app: the office that keeps coming up, the drinks, the flat, the bathroom door. She uploads her photos, picks the scene, and the generated set puts him inside the room you actually live in.
She says his name on purpose. Every time.
Everyone depicted in a generated scene has to be an adult who gave consent for their likeness to be used. That is section 3 of our terms. Anyone can have their likeness removed here.
New to this? What cuckolding actually feels like covers why scenes like this one land the way they do. If you have not told her yet, start here.
